Mission Statement
Welcome to the Medical Innovation and Public Health Awareness Club. The mission of the club is to educate the younger generations with intensive medical knowledge. Members of the club can benefit from learning medical procedures and public health practices.

Noticing the lack of clubs relating to awareness in medical advancements and public health policies, we decided to create one ourselves. We feel that this club can greatly benefit students and bring awareness about our public health issues and try to resolve them as a group. Furthermore, this club is what we need especially in facing issues in recent times. Together, we can build a positive community of aspiring public health experts and medical professionals.
MIPHA is founded by two Walnut High School students, but is based entirely online. We have members from all different high schools. We are not exclusive to any particular region and are always welcoming members, no matter which school they come from.

Hi, my name is Michelle Cheng and I am the president of MIPHA club. I created this club with Daniel with the goal of educating our peers on medical issues present in our society. I hope that our club will not only help inform students about medical knowledge but also help with speaking skills and help build a network of like-minded students, aiming for a career related to science.
Hello, my name is Daniel Lin. I am a junior from Walnut High School who love movies and studying medical-related knowledge. I am the vice president/co-founder of the Medical Innovation and Public Health Awareness Club (MIPHA). Knowledge and career in medicine had always been fascinating to me as medicine can significantly contribute to the human society. With the passion and devotion towards the medical field, I decided to create a club with the mission to educate and learn with my peers about medical-related topics. In addition to my interest in medicine, I also play clarinet for Walnut High School's marching band and symphonic band.
